Brushes App

I sit in the car a lot. Waiting. For kids. So I can drive them around. This is what I do when I wait. I doodle on my brushes app for the iphone.

Finger Painting

I went with my daughter to her first out of state soccer tournament in Arizona. Instead of downloading a book onto the ipad, I downloaded the Inspire-pro painting app. My first attempt at finger painting on the ipad:

I absolutely love the fact I can create without having to bring my paints, colored pencils, etc. when trying to save space! I am determined to get better at this!

I spent all weekend taking pictures (photo post-processed in photoshop):

Sunday

This is what we did on Sunday Evening:

All that white? It's snow. Very pretty, except for the fact it was FREEZING, and I had on about 5 layers on top! Anything to watch your kids, right?

I love the shadows in that top picture. I wish I had my big camera with me. Thank goodness for the iphone!

Dining Room

I joined the bandwagon. Another password I need to remember. I finally downloaded Instagram. It's not the same as my photoshop CS3, but it is instant gratification for obsessive picture-takers like me. 

I'm working on my dining room now - I wanted a change from my big painting I had in there. I'm trying not to make too many unnecessary holes, so I am actually going to think about how I'm going to display my medley of food/food related paintings together.
